Perfect description for this summer. I'll need a set up for my eggs.

Virginia, perhaps we should add a word and say "TOO hot!" Love it and so appropriate.

Il fait très chaud, aussi, en Russie! A Paris, le ciel est bleu-gris avec un petit rayon de soleil mais il ne fait pas chaud! Je préfère car je n'aime pas la grosse chaleur!
Courage !

I'll take some cheese grits, hold the eggs.

Will we ever get some relief?

Virginia said...

Halcyon,
Where I live we get a five minute shower about every other day. Just enough to wet the sidewalk. My big hydrangeas are almost dead!! This is brutal!

Hot, hot, hot...that's all I've got to say.

And here in LA, I'm wearing a sweater. There's no justice.

I wore a coat over my pig shirt this morning.

Petrea and Hiker,
OK, I am going to have ban you "Dena" bloggers if you continue to leave snarky comments about chilly weather out there on the Left Coast! That's just wrong!
Guess you're in between natural disasters so you're getting all cocky! :)

Virginia said...

I guess when Earl gets home from work he'll be leaving a comment about hot cocoa with marshmellows by the fire!!!

Petrea Burchard said...

I'm the only one who'd rather have hot weather.

Where's the Goodwill truck with the parkas? I'm freezing.

How do I get the icicles off my nose? I can see my breath! Things are shriveling up!

WV: readu. I readu loud and clear.

Virginia said...

Earl,
I'm sure things have shriveled with no help from the weather.

Bob Crowe said...

You said it, sister. Here, too. I rarely go out on the hostile surface of the planet these days.

Virginia said...

B,
I hear ya brotha! Stay in where it's cool. When we land in the Lou, it better be COOOOOOOOOOLLLLLL!

Petrea Burchard said...

Now that it's evening, J and I are cozy by the fireplace. We've closed off the other rooms to conserve heat. We look forward to the arrival of the parka truck tomorrow. V, you're a pal.

Virginia said...

Oh we will be shipping many truckloads. It looks like we will be in our skivvies here till around Christmas. It's the least we can do for you all out there trying to stay warm.

I'm comin' to visit for a spell. I'll help you put up your tree.

My WV is "fumin." Like your sidewalks.

I'm typing this with gloves on. We need jackets, hot soup, and footie pajamas. Really, whatever warmth you can spare. Lint.

Virginia said...

WE'll see what we can dig up. I'm willing to donate all of my sweaters. I'm convinced I will NEVER be cool enough to wear them.

TheChieftess said...

Ok...that clinches it...I'm not traveling south unless it's early spring!!!

Amen to the shot, it's HOT.
