Me And My Shadows

This lucky boy was spending the spring afternoon with his grandparents at East Lake Art District /Ruffner Mountain Nature Center's Art at Ruffner Mountain last Saturday.  I captured their shadows upon their arrival and later found them having an up close look at the snakes!  ( I stayed back and zoomed. I can't do snakes. Yikes!)

A job only a grandparent would do? Taking the budding herpetologist to a snake exhibit?

L'ombre de l'enfant comme l'ombre d'un oiseau, les ailes dépliées. Did you see the effect before taking the picture in your box??

Why is there a snake exhibit in an Art District???

Chieftess, I need to clarify! The ELAD held their art show at Ruffner Mt. Nature Center. THey had it all open and had art activities for the children in the nature center itself. :)

Ahhhh!!! That explains it!!! I can't imagine going to an Arts program and ending up at a snake enclosure!!! (I don't like snakes...but I love art!!!)

...walkin' down the avenue. We're dating ourselves again. What i like about this is two sets of feet and the strong shadow of three sets of legs. Who is that out of the frame?
