The Clock is Ticking....


In just a few weeks, these cheerful lockers at Whatley Elementary School will be locked for the summer!

That looks like another era...I don't think very many of our schools have lockers any more...haven't for years. So the kids haul these heavy backpacks around.

Artsy shot. Wonder why that one is locked?

Oh, my, that's a gorgeous photo...OF LOCKERS...who would of thunk.
(I don't want to be reminded of the school year end. My son has, what, 4 weeks to pull up his Algebra II grade. Agh.)

Color, rhythm and a puzzle. Why would they be locked during the summer when they are empty, rather than during the school year when they are full of students' belongings?

This was taken about a month ago. This summer, I predict there will be no locks. I don't know why only one was locked.
