The Dog Days of Summer

You can't make this up!  Don't think I have ever seen a dog dressed in a DRESS before.  I guess every girl needs a cool summer sundress to help beat the heat.  Don't you?

Very posh, styling at the fashion show. all we need now is the catwalk.

You should come to South Florida if you want to see a true doggie fashion show!

Seersucker is so chic, every glamourpooch should have some in their closet. What a fun shot!

Oh how fabulous, Virginia. Well I can tell you 'dog people' do all sorts of weird things. Just love the way you've caught this little one 'stepping out' with an energy to go with the dress. Hey look at me, she is saying. I presume she is a she? Nice one.

Just catching up. Loved yesterday's morning light.

Virginia, this pooch has a lot of like-minded canine fashionistas in Los Angeles -- particularly in Beverly Hills.

Fun shot. You can just tell that dog is thinking, "Don't blame me. My owner did this to me..."

Too funny! And very preppy, with the pink and green collars. I bet this dog gets lots of attention!

LOL! I have never, never seen a dog in a sundress. Super post.

Remember you saw it here first in Birmingham!

how cute!
the owner probably wanted her to look ladylike ... :)
i hope her dress is made of cotton so that she didn't get overheated. :)

Nice post, Virginia.

I rarely find clothes on dogs flattering but this one is kinda cute. The dress actually looks good on the dog.

Oh dear! (sigh)

I'm glad you took the photo but really I think the people who do this have a problem in life.

I'm slowly catching up with the blogs I love on my return from vacation. Sorry I didn't comment on your "metal" theme day post on the day, because I think it's fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful. Just one thing, you could have framed it with a little bit more space under the chairs and table, just to let them sit more comfortably on the ground. Missing out on a bit of the red wall wouldn't have been a problem.

I really liked your Morning light post. Positive feedback from a supportive group is wonderful.

I wonder if she has a handbag to match!

Nathalie,
You are absoluety correct. The original actually did have more room at the bottom . It was a cropping mistake that I hope I have learned a good lesson from.

Cute dress, too. I wonder if the owner made it. I haven't seen these in pet stores or boutiques.
