We're back at the Birmingham Children's Theater's wonderful fundraiser - A NIGHT IN OZ*. How could I pass up a chance to show you some of the adorable faces I captured? There were way too many for one post. I've saved a few more to share later.
Remember, if you would like to make a donation to the Birmingham Children's Theater, click here for more information.

Magical portraits. Your photos of children always bring delight and a smile.
des portrait superbes (bravo pour la lumiere). j'ai une préférence pour le premier.
of portrait superb (bravo for light). I have a priority as the first.
Oh these wonderful wonderful portraits. Virginia you're so good at this.
Sorry I don't have the time to come and comment every day but I always look back at your previous posts when I visit and I'm always impressed.
I just adored the cute snowed-up tricycle and your glass theme day shot (the top one was the best,it's more concentrated. The bottom one becomes overexposed as you reach the sky).
And then your Artists at Work post was a joy to read and look at. How lucky you must have felt, sharing this creative moment with Tres and Tom. I would have been thrilled!
Photos like these always made my day. Wonderful images in deed
Lovely row!I think the last young lady has something to see with your own smile...
Ah, if I only had a brain. Song lyrics to remember when we feel a little too clever. By the way, this child has the widest eyes I've seen in a long time. The director wasn't medication the kiddies to keep them in line, was s/he?
That little scarecrow is so adorable!!
I would not be able to refuse anything to those eyes!!!!
You are a very talented portraitist Virginia.
There are some real cuties! I like your new header photo as well.
Well you know for people I think you do people best. Especailly children you do have an affinity with the genre of photography.
Alice, you knew! She has been patiently posing for her Mumsie since the day she was born! I hope you will get to meet her this summer.
Bob, I suspect the self serve Pixie Stix (nothing but pure flavored SUGAR) machine gave them all an extra kick!HA
A moment to be proud of these little actor and actresses! Beautiful work by the master of portraits!
I'm not sure what it is -- I think it's a vulnerability that you capture. An openness.
These last posts couldn't be lovelier! Such cute faces! The red shoes shot is also fantastic. Great work, V.!
beautiful portraits of children. They are very serious
How cute are they? I love the scarecrow costume. He should keep it for Halloween later this year.
My goodness, where did your grandgirl's dimples disappear to? Oz? Your portraiture is wonderful V.
