Creative Kids Show Their Stuff

This past weekend was Birmingham's Art Walk. Artists were tucked in every nook and cranny of the downtown loft district. At Space One Eleven, I fell in love with these colorful wind socks created by students that benefit from their terrific program for Birmingham's youth.

Its a crafty time of year around the country ... I am always seeing things I want but have no place to put or hang ...

Hmmm, maybe I could switch from ceramics to windsocks.

They look really good. Shame they didn't put them outside or have a fan blowing to show them in full wind sock mode.

Thanks everyone. Now that I look at them again, maybe they were kites??? Whatever, I thought they were just a riot of color and fun!
