100 Strangers Challenge - Pepper Place Guys

Strangers #93, 94, 95

Oh you thought I'd forgotten all about my 100 Strangers Challenge didn't you? Well umm...I had. How could I forget these three nice gentlemen? They had staked out a prime spot in front of the General Store at the Pepper Place Market, so they could have a ringside seat for the antique car display last fall. I have 5 to go before I hit 100. Now I'm thinking I might want to sign on for another 100. This has been so much fun!

Oh, and the guy below? Well he could have been #96, but I couldn't wake him up for a chat now could I ?

PARIS THROUGH MY LENS CALENDARS are $9 off right now. Click on the calendar on the sidebar!

I hear Pepper Place and I think of Dr. Pepper. I was introduced to that drink by my mother on a trip to Florida when I was twelve. At that time, no Dr. Pepper north of the Mason-Dixon line.

These fellows have their counterparts all over the world.

I'm glad you remembered. These guys are a joy. I bet they were fun to talk with. Is that the deal? You have to chat them up at bit for it to count?

Bibi,
Well that's exactly where the name Pepper Place came from. It's the old Dr. Pepper bottling building! I love them too. Remember 10-2- and at 4???

Brattcat,
Yes, exactly. For the 100 Strangers Challenge which you can find on Flickr, you must have had some interaction with the subject. When I do my 100 French Strangers I usually count any semblance of a chat! HA

Louis,
You're a mess!!

I applaud you for stepping into the 100 strangers project with such gusto and aplomb!!! The project intrigues me, but I haven't yet taken the plunge...your people shots are amazing...I think my favorites of your photography!!! People are the most interesting subjects...

Chieftess,
I can talk to a rock so it's not been painful. On the contrary it's been really fun and I've met some of the nicest people! I'll admit the French Strangers Challenge on my Paris blog was a little trickier but I have about 47 of them already! I'm hoping to hit 100 on my next trip!

Great slice-of-life, V. That guy on the right seems a bit wary of you, though...

The guy in the second photo isn't wary of much of anything.

Have a great Sunday!

V...I've talked to a few rocks upon occasion...but the 100 strangers are still a bit daunting!!!

FYI...there's a beautiful, peaceful rain falling outside my window right now...So Cal is expressing it's winter season beautifully!!! Say a few prayers for the folks near the Station Fire area...that the rain stays a delight and doesn't cause damage...

You and I both have a three fat good ole boys theme going today. I can just hear the accents of yours. Really like the bottom picture - the POV is perfect.

The new header is on STL DPB now and the 1,000th post goes up at 12:01 AM.

I'd ask them to play a game of dominoes with me, but they look to relaxed!

"Talk to a rock!" You are amazing, Virginia. These guys are great. And I'm loving your snow shots.
