Merry Christmas, Virginia! Stay warm down there. You'll be happy to know Rudolph is leading the way through the Minnesota blizzard this evening. Tell your little angels that Santa just left here. ;)

Joyeux Noël à toi et ta famille

Really like the subtle lighting and focus in this one - great atmosphere. And then there's that quintet again...

We're sitting in the St. Louis airport waiting for our flight to La Guardia, watching a gentle snow fall. All we need is wreaths on the planes.

Virginia said...

Bob,
The QUINTET blew through here today like Grant through Richmond! For the first Christmas i can remember, I'm not saving one box! They are all going in the recycle bin! HA Now I'm heading to the sofa with my blankey and a little nap!

Bergson, Merci mon ami, et toi aussi!

Mary,
The stick won't be necessary I'm afraid! I wish!!!! :)

Joyeux Noël à vous et à toute vôtre famille!

That is an imposing Santa head, VJ. Something about it takes me right back to my childhood - and that is a looong journey.

I adore the image of the quintet (and the analogy to Grant through Richmond). Wonderful news yesterday from my daughter that she is expecting a zephyr come July.

So for me 2010 will be a year of much reflection and much joy. I wish you health and happiness, too, Virginia.

Now back you go to the sofa, with blankey and hot-toddy, put your feet up and listen to Bing sing his way around St Marys.

Oh Julie, a grand mum!! I can hardly wait for your photos. The baby on the beach yesterday tugged at my heart. It was a superb photo. I'm thrilled for you and your family my friend!

Louis,

After a happy but exhausting holiday, I'm back to check on some blogs I've neglected. What a glorious time you must have had with those 5!

It is my hope that 2010 is a grand and wonderful year for you and your family.

a fab shot of a most divine gathering of angels.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday! Your angels are really precious.

Virginia said...

Brattcat,
The angels are a lot of fun. Le petit Prince just tries to tolerate the whole crew. He was pretty busy with his Star Wars men but I think played along with them a bit!

D,
Thank you my "Alabama" friend :)

Kate,
Are you all covered in snow? Rob says you all had a blizzard on Christmas Eve! Lordy, I"m glad I don't still live in Neenah, Wisconsin, although we made some dear friends there.

Petrea,
Merci mon amie!!
