A few weeks ago I relived my "teacher days". I helped (not much) in my grandson Davis' 4K class at the Advent Day School, as they did their adorable reindeer tee shirts. Of course I caught a few photos while I was there! ( Googly eyes and a very cute nose followed.)
Oh and did I mention a bare foot painted with brown paint was involved???

pour le telethon, les eleves d'un lycée d'Evry ont fait une immense fresque avec les empreintes de leurs mains, j'adore
Clever idea to add the footprint, but now it looks more like a moose!
Very cute!
At first I thought it might be part of a mime performance, but since it involves children that's even better. Caught red-handed, VJ!
This is better that a lot of the Modern "Art" that I've seen.
What wonderfully messy children got scrubbed in the tub that night!
Olivier, I 'm hoping you have a photo of that on your blog. I'm on my way over to see!
Bratt,
Actually Mrs. Ritchie has this whole proceedure down to a fine art and moms and grandmoms were right there to help with cleanup!
B 2,
I must agree.
Kate,
that should have been my title!!!
Bibi,
They look more like reindeer when the finishing touches are added. Maybe I'll post a photo of Davis in his shirt!
The kind of game everyone is happy to join...
That's a cute idea, and I'm sure the kids have great fun making their own shirts!
That's a new one to me! The hand is so versatile -- first a turkey, then a reindeer.
Fantastic! An out-of-the-park home run. Bravo V!
Now that's how a leaf (orleaves) should look when in water (I refer to your gorgeous header shot).. mine didnt work that well tho I am not complaining, ok I am but not a lot, cause mine are glitterer .. I love the idea of the t-shirt ... I might need to do a couple myself ..
What a good idea ! I like your new header very much !!
I'm glad you like the header. Did anyone pick up on the red/green motif ? I'm flat out of Christmasy shots, so this is as seasonal as I could find right now. I'm working on it though!
Mumsie,
Davis brought the t-shirt home today...all of the kids wore them for our last Lessons and Carols practice. 45 chillens looked so cute with all of the reindeer faces!!
Assuming you are attending tomorrow morning, see you there!!
Jen
Miss Jen,
I can hardly wait till Lessons and Carols tomorrow morning. I wish I could be up there taking photos the whole time , and then I just love sitting and hearing it all. My favorite Christmas event. I love every minute.
V
I love to see an adult reigning over controlled chaos, they're always the favorite teachers. So much love. And I'm guessing it was your foot and tootsie toes?
Cute!!
I agree that's a cute idea!
