Last Saturday I was headed downtown for a photo shoot and lo and behold this great yellow car caught my eye and I had to pull over... of course! I photographed it through the fence, with and without the tree. I liked the black tree branches.
«Louis», late to the party sees that you and Bob Crowe have already covered what «Louis» was going to say: it looks like you're treading on Bob Crowe's turf, Virginia...
Louis, What a compliment. I only wish I could tread on Bob's turf. He has become a very, very dear friend and mentor. If we've joined forces, I'm delighted! V

the lighting is just wonderful. You are definitely right about the tree adding to the composition.
Perfect for hobo travel -:)
belle composition, j'aime le squelette de l'arbre .
Today is van Gogh's birthday and he DID like yellow, so subconsciously you may have posted a photo in his honor. I did!
I like the branches against the yellow.
Oh, I love the tree.
I agree with your choice.
Deeelish as is the forsythia in the header ... LOVE the black branches against the taxi cab yellow boxcar ...,
The black trees compliment the yellow boxcar.
Now you are shooting stuff that I would myself! Next thing you know, we'll be seeing photos of graffiti art. (Or not.)
Bob,
Tu et moi, on the same page? Get outta here! :)
Merci everyone for your comments. Glad to know that you thought my choice was a good one, even though I didn't give you anothe view! That works! HA
Well done Virginia! I like the branches too.
I wonder if the yellow has any specific meaning? I don't remember seeing one before.
