Mirror, Mirror

The Interiors Market at the Pepper Place on 2nd Avenue South is one of my favorite places to look around. Antique vendors have small rooms where they show everthing - antiques, furniture, rugs, artwork and accessories. It's always changing, so I always find something new. They also have some fabulous jewelry that I love to try on and drool over. Today some beautiful old mirrors and furniture in Martha Lauren's space. Look who kept getting in my shot!

this looks like my type of place!
I love the crisp white table against the more muted off whites and greys.
Virginia, please stop by if you can, I am celebrating two years of blogging with a giveaway.

Why don't you pack that photo-intruder up and ship her off to some place like Paris?

Love the mirror shot...surreal in a way, and the furniture is great. I also looks like someone had just sat (toi?) on the armchair.

Now if you were an obsessive photographer (who could that be?) your first impression may be that this is a very ornate ring flash. The person on the right has her own elaborations.

BTW, I really like your current header. Flowrz is flowrz but there's something in the color saturation, DOF and lighting that really stands out.

Thank's for your comment today on STL DPB's third anniversary. But &$@*^$% portal.

Pesky photographers ... no common courtesy when a colleague is trying to create art! Go figure!!

I try to avoid antique shops because most of the stuff there is not as old as I am!

Cute photographer hiding behind that camera!

Oui oui oui magnifique !Both the subject and your photos are great.

Thanks for your visit in Avignon. Yes I hope one day we can get together and discuss topics such as school hours, cultural differences and life in general while sipping a glass of wine or a cup of tea.

(interestingly enough, while typing the above I misspelled "a glass of wine" and wrote "a glass of whine" - which I corrected immediately of course. Fun eh?)

Martha Lauren's shop is one of the most lovely I've ever been in. Everything is perfection from the pretty silk bows which she affixes the tags to to the large selection of exquisite silver topped vanity jars....everything is beautiful.
