Oh My Gosh - It IS A Kelvinator! Haven't seen that in ages but does southern California count? I remember RC Cola....from when I was a baby of course......
We even had RC out here on the West Coast. What we didn't have until I was around 18, was Vernors. There's a store in the Highland Park area of LA not far from here called Galco's that carries 450 brands of soda pop from all over.
Really nice color and texture. RC Cola was more widely distributed than people think. It was around in NYC way back when, although it had a tiny market share. Moon Pies, though, were restricted by international trade agreement from crossing the Mason-Dixon line.
My memory's slipping...barely remember moon pies (my mom probably didn't let me eat them)...but I do remember not caring for RC Cola...I was a Coke or Pepsi girl even back then...

Love this photo -- the faded colors, the fonts. I lived in Kentucky in the 70s and I sure do remember RC Cola and Moon Pies! that sure takes me back.
Loved them both, but sure don't need the calories now.
