Pain au Chocolat - Here, There???

Today un petit cadeau pour vous. If I'm going to throw calories to the wind, this is where I'll do it. My Francophile friends are imaging this is from a Paris patisserie. Non mes amies, c'est Continental Bakery's booth at the Pepper Place Market just last weekend! I'm off to the other city j'adore. I'll be having one in Paris tomorrow morning, if all goes well. Au revoir.

PS Don't fret, BADP will continue and I hope to comment daily. If you want to follow my folies á Paris, click here for my daily updates on Paris Through My Lens!

Bon Voyage!!! (And make sure to wash down that chocolate with a nice glass of champagne!)

Bon voyage...your pains au chocolats parisiens will have just a teeny bit fewer calories; looks like the Continental Bakery dusted theirs with powdered sugar (SHUH-gair).

Gosh, Virginia, it made my mouth water. I wonder if that has anything to do with how our eyes affects our stomach?

Poor girl. You missed Eric's picnic by a week. I suspect there will be a private one just for you. Have a beautiful time in your beloved Paris. Safe travels.

Ah I am sure you are there now enjoying this along with an excellent cup of coffee ... I hope you had less delays than I did this weekend flying to Boston and ferrying to Provincetown (and I got awfully sea sick)

Oh enjoy enjoy enjoy !
I'm off to Paris through my lens now.

I could have told this pain au chocolat was not made in France - the true French version doesn't have sugar on top !!! ;-)

I agree with you, I'd rather loose my calories on good stuff!
Enjoy Paris, but I know you will.
