And the Fork Ran Away With the Spoon

at the Pepper Place Market.  I love old silver. I'd bet many of you do as well.

How fun!!! Love that old silver...when I was single, I bought a 12 piece set of silver plate at a yard sale at a neighbors house...then my mom started giving away her stuff, and I got the sterling (a major coup!!!), then I married the Hubman and merged with two additional sets of silver, one he swears is sterling, (but I'm not so sure...I think it's silver plate) One of the sets of his was so tarnished it was black...wouldn't you know that with a little silver polish, elbow grease and time, that set turned out to be my favorite!! (next to my mom's sterling, of course!) I've looked online to replace some of the pieces and do you know, it's often less expensive per place setting nowadays than good stainless!!!

I'd like to run away with the circus. Too much to do at this time of year.
