Happy Mothers' Day

“I love my mother for all the times she said absolutely nothing.... Thinking back on it all, it must have been the most difficult part of mothering she ever had to do: knowing the outcome, yet feeling she had no right to keep me from charting my own path. I thank her for all her virtues, but mostly for never once having said, "I told you so.”

When mom and dad said "I told you so." Yup, it was frustrating as ALL hell. But I learned so much from my small and LARGE indiscretions. NOW, I'm so glad they issued that reminded. It taught be a lot about living life to the fullest. So, Bombeck can have her funny quotes about life. Never bought into them... never smiled when I heard them. hahahaha I'll take my experiences.

Not easy to be a mom. Having a day to celebrate and relax is quite something over a year period!
Happy Mother's Day!
P.S. I'll be celebrated twice in the month... :-)

Good advice for any parent. I don't think I nagged our kids, or not much. But you would have to ask them...
