Beautiful tribute.. Thank you for remembering and honoring veterans on Memorial Day!
All military headstones are the same and all of them a little heartbreaking in their simplicity.
That's so poignant. I never served in the military. My father was a young man during WW II but he was so nearsighted they just put him in the National Guard in an armory on the east side of Manhattan. It's good to be reminded.
I love the angle of this shot. just beautiful.
