Chez Fonfon, in the 5 Points area of Birmingham, offers French cuisine and outdoor dining where you can enjoy these lovely blue doors and play the game of boules or petanque. (Thanks to my friends who helped me with the correct spelling!)
"boules", "pétanque" are rather common French play with metallic bowls and a small wooden bowl called "cochonnet" ( little pig). You've to put your bowls as near of the cochonnet as you can and you're allowed to hit away other's bowl.

I've played 'boule ball' over here in England... it was fun and a great wy to enjoy an evening in the garden..
Outdoor dining sounds nice! But what is boule ball? Perhaps my French-speaking eldest son might know.
This is a fine image and is complemented by the text. Welcome to photoblogging. You will meet some very nice people.

Love photos of doors and windows - especially when they are restaurant entrances! Nice shot.
Quels beaux volets !
Fine and useless shutters.
