Allow me just one more foggy day photo. I would love to paint this but that might require dealing with my artistic frustrations, so I will just enjoy sharing this image with you. We don't have many foggy days around here, or maybe I just never noticed until I started seriously looking at my world with a photographer's eye. Could be.
* My friend Blognote,
Arona Every Day, what an inspiration and a mentor you have been. I hope this photo today comes close, in some small way, to your exquisite photographic style.

This is wonderfully mysterious. I think our winter mornings sometimes look like this, but that would mean getting up early.
This is beautiful Virginia, the title photo also, it reminds me of a Monet.I see the impressionists are rubbing off on you after your stay in Paris! Which is where I'm heading to now, coiurtesy of your new blog!
V., I visited Blognote before I visited you today. At first glance, I thought I was stuck in Arona. This is a beautiful capture and yes, very similar to his style. Lovely!
A great dynamic in the picture Virginia.
Your photo exemplifies what I consider to be the start of a wonderful day.
This is a beautiful photo and it would make a wonderful painting.
This is a lovely photo...a very serene image. It almost looks like a painting itself.
Lovely image Virginia and yes, very "Blognote-esque".
Beautiful shot as always. I also can't get over how much I love your header pick. Visiting your blog never disappoints.
Cheers!

Absolument magnifique Virginia.
C'est très beau!
What a wonderful feel to this photo, Great job!
V, this and the picture in your header are damn good photographs, prize winners. Atmosphere, color, softness, mood all perfect. Now I'm going to have to run out to one of the parks and see if I can imitate you.
Bob Crowe, you lawyers can talk your way out of anything! Yeah right, imitate me and you will be up all night photoshopping the heck out of your photos! But thanks for the nice comment my friend.
Foggy has a familiar feel to me, but the scenery in your beautiful photo and header are quite different from my beach views. Both are beautiful.
Hugs and blessings,
What a beautiful photo. Much better than a painting :)
Nice one,V. BTW.....I noticed that you have discovered the terrible secret of the Peter, 'roony, Rchard axis. ;-)
Monet, dear Monet yes I will go along with that likeness. I'd like to see your other artisic side, the painting sometime. That's an order not a request! Long time ago I used to paint leather jackets to sell to the rock crowd and also charcoal drawings. Just because the other half is a genius artist it will not stop me having a go again for fun. This image must be hiding those Manx Fairies, it'so magical.
A great shot. Fog can be both a photographer's best friend and worst enemy!

You don't want to see my art at this point. I can see it in my head but just don't have the skills to put it down on canvas. Oh I can give you some very tight realistic version but I am trying to move in a more abstract direction and it's not coming.
Kris, in my case fog has been a new friend lately. The weather has been bad and I have a photo deficit. Guess the economy has hit my photo backlog!!!
Roon,
I left you a comment on your fine blog. Wow, that 's some photo today.
Thank you all for your thoughtful and kind comments!

Hautning in the fog, Simply beautiful. Something about leafless trees when photographed like this come to life.
This is just gorgeous, Virginia. Sorry I've not been commenting. So busy here. Great to catch up with your lovely photos today.
Virginia, This photo is beautiful!
Best foggy photo I've seen, Virginia!
Beautiful... thank you for sharing this great shot!
Thank you so much, Virginia!! Your photo is absolutely beautiful and I am so pleased and honoured that you believe that I have given you some inspiration but trust me, your "eye" is that of a qualified photographer!!
(I will contact you later on, I still have guests to look after for the next few days!)
Ciao
Diederick
