You'll have to pardon my gushing but it's been a long, cold, dreary, wet winter down here in the "Sunny South" and today was just a blessing for us all. I'm not sure what this gorgeous flowering tree is. I'll guess Bradford Pear and hope that a kind reader will correct me if I'm wrong. What could be more gorgeous? Happy sigh!

What glorious blossoms!
les couleurs du printemps, c'est beau, c'est chaud, mais c'est blanc comme la neige ;))
Virginia, you just gush all you want, go on. You deserve some spring and flowers by now. Enjoy!
V, Looks like what I saw in Georgia when I visited and I think you are correct with the name. It's beautiful whatever it is. Happy Spring!
Those blossoms against the blue sky....ahhhh, heavenly.
Yes, it's a Bradford pear. Love the blue sky behind it. Yea, the weather is great here!!
Spring at last! We all had very hard winters, it's about time to see something cheerful! Beautiful blossoms, V.!
The Bradford pears are in full bloom in Charleston as well...so beautiful. The saucer magnolias are also in full bloom. Isn't spring just wonderful!
so pretty. Spring is everywhere right now. It is the best time of the year!
Bring it on!
I was going to say its a dogwood but I guess I am wrong, someone else said you were correct .. whatever it is, its lovely and I wish there were more than little buds on the trees here in the still cold Big Apple
Wonderful blossoms...
We don`t have so much at the time...hope soon...
Lovely sight indeed! We're in the mid 60's toady under almost clear sky. Rain is suggested for the next few days, though. Don't forget your sunscreen, V -:)
Isn't spring wonderful!!! And to think...it seems like only a few weeks ago you were knee deep in snow!!!
