What happens in the "Denas", stays in the "Denas"
Today a trip to the Huntington Gardens. Our rowdy band of bloggers photographed every leaf and petal there. We also enjoyed a delightful tea in the Rose Garden Tearoom. Much talk and laughter ensued. I'm pretty sure we were not their typical "tea" crowd. :)

Our roses knew you were coming and put on a grand show for you. What a fun time we had with your great blogger friends! Oh - and I love the pics too.

A lovely series, V. I'm familiar with the Huntington Gardens, but can't remember if we ever visited there or not (of course I haven't been back to Southern California is many, many years)!

Charming. Maybe the putto in the first picture is giving good advice but I'm a lawyer and I can't shut up.
Really sorry I've been so out of touch. Wildly over-scheduled lately. And more distractions this week - the big conference for my specialty. We have to get the continuing professional education credits. But, um, it's in Nawlins so my carry-on is bursting with camera stuff.

Re your comment on Cedar Key...there are a number of places for rent in Cedar Key where you can walk out the door and stick your feet in the sand or wade in the water or fish or kayak or just loll about...

I had a very fragrant rose in my garden in Berkeley that looked very much like the one you've pictured. It was called French Lace. So lovely!
I was just down in SoCal last weekend and enjoyed it. Wish I'd had time to visit the Pasadena crowd. When I was down last summer it didn't work out to meet them, either. One of these trips. . ..
