100+ Strangers Challenge - A California Stranger

Stranger #104

I had to jet all the way to San Marino's Huntington Gardens to capture this stranger. Tash said the wife didn't look all that happy about me taking her husband's photo, but he didn't seem to mind a bit!

Capture? And then what did you do with him...?

Ha, ha to JB!

A jealous wife... I love his little cheeks.

He's darling. Did you get the wife to sit for you, too?

He's gonna be telling people for years to come about the good looking woman who asked to take his photo

Great photo. I'm still learning but am up to #6. Hopefully practice will improve my technique. I'll use you as a mentor!

I remember this. "Would y'all mahynd if Ah tayke your pic-chur?"

(She didn't ask the wife, Brattcat.)

Kathy, I"m happy to help. Just remember, the worst thing that can happen is that they say no. If they do, thank them and move on. I have TON of French Strangers from this trip in Paris!

JB,
THe only way I can get on apparently is to capture...at gun point!

BC,
No I didn't get the wife!

Hiker, ya'll started talkin just like me after about 10 minutes if I recall! JB and I are on opposite poles with our accents but we managed quite well! HA

And I also recall he looked kind of depressed and dour until you made his day.

(I'm a born mimic when among stronger personalities.)

He sure was pleased to pose for you V!!! I think the wife was a bit piqued that she wasn't asked too...how could she not be pleased that some beautiful southern belle wanted to take a picture of her husband???

Where the heck was I? I would have remembered this charming guy, but I must have been off wading in the lily pond or something because I don't remember this at all. What a lovely shot, V.

Are you back already? Jet-lagged?

He was sitting on the bench near the herb garden, I think we were leaving the Chinese gardens and either on the way to the Tea room, or the Botanical garden...

What a charming man! Looks like a natural born extrovert, just like you.

Wow, you're past 100! Congratulations! I'm on #9, and still find it a bit intimidating. Nice portrait! Funny about the wife.
