you hate 'em.
Boiled peanuts are a southern "delicacy" that has many fans the southeast. I'm a roasted goober lover myself, but I enjoyed seeing how they were prepared first hand at the Pepper Place Market recently. This vendor also offered roasted corn with melted butter. Now THAT was tempting!

Even if someone was not a boiled peanut fan these look delicious.
Once you try 'em, you'll like 'em.
You know, I have never had boiled peanuts, but never expected them to be dark brown like this. Somehow, somewhere I must try some.
Mmmm, delicious food and foto!
LOVE peanuts .. preferably unsalted .. so I am betting I would be gobbling up those goobers .. corn also sounds good ... I am now officially hungry!
I'm a lover of boiled peanuts! I'm from Hawaii and they are also very popular there. That's a great shot, did you use a macro lense?
I love them! Great picture as always...we missed you at Pepper Place last Saturday!
I can't say I've ever had boiled peanuts, roasted and salted for me.

Never, ever had one....but the color and texture of the photo is wonderful.
You know, these look like something quite different than peanuts on the portal. I've had boiled peanuts and I think they're great - plus low fat and sodium.
Love 'em!
Hate them? Does anyone who's EVER tried them hate them?
Eeyore,
Well I have tried them and no I don't care for them. Taste like half cooked black eyed peas to me!
I'm with you Virginia...hate 'em!
