Saturday our Laura Kate celebrated her 6th birthday with a gaggle of friends at McCallum Park in Vestavia. The hit of the day was the Ice Cream Lady who pulled up in her truck. The kiddos found the creek and there were shoes flying as many took advantage of the still warm weather and did a little wading in the clear water.

Still ware in AL - the seasons are definitely changing here. The portrait of the girl is terrific. The composition, especially the color of the ice against her face and dress, just shines.
