Patina?

One man's grunge is another man's patina, charm? You be the judge.

This is probably the first CDP Theme Day that I've not participated in since I joined up with this wacky and talented group of daily photobloggers.  The theme this month was "Public Transportation" and my choice was so lame I just couldn't bring myself to use it. I promise to be a team player again next month! Click HERE to see the other great ideas from around the world.

Virginia, I should probably have done what you did. I had nothing for Menton although I did for Monte Carlo. So good for you. I love your patina, although I'd probably call it rust (!) and I may say my dogs go crazy when they hear Meeps!

We forgive you, Virginia. :)
Love the caption for this photo.

My eyes are traveling the curves and textures of this image...it's a sort of public transportation for the orbs.

While it is beautiful, its in no way a patina ... if you scrape off the peeling paint, then work on that rust below it you might find a patina ..

Let's hope next month's Theme proves to be a better choice. This one was a little tough (in my opinion) to be creative with.

Patina and rust, beautiful sight to me with that glorious color and textures.

Agree it's no patina, but it is indeed a lovely photo...

Like this a lot. Charm, style and decay. What else could you want? Okay, a martini, but what else?

I don't think we always have to participate in the theme. I'd rather not participate than put up a photo I'm not proud of.

Besides, this shot is gawgeous.

This is oh so charming. I guess you know which way I lean.
I will take your lead next time when I'm posting something I don't like just to join the theme. But you still "joined" by providing the link for everyone. I would not of thought of that. ;\
