I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.

I think it should be 'camellia alabamica'! So fresh I can almost smell it.....

Camellias really have no real fragrance. Perhaps you're thinking of the gardenia. I love the scent but it's too strong for some.
