Thank you Charlie Thigpen ( Garden Gallery at the Pepper Place) for this wonderful reminder of my childhood. I danced and pranced in many sprinklers. Good memories!
V, this image and your words bring back wonderful sound impressions...the sound of the water, the sound of feet slapping in wet grass, the sound of slippery wet little bodies wiggling joyfully in the summer sun, the sound of children squealing and giggling with delight...thank you, thank you!
Thanks for visiting! I do view your blogs, just haven't got round to commenting on your beautiful images. These childhood memories are so precious........we used hose pipes and got just as wet no doubt!

Rob, Well hardly ever! HA
Brattcat, and thank you for the wondrous words!
Ruby, I'm laughing because down south we called them hose pipes as well!
Love it! Really nice Virginia. I think you should start dancing around it again ;)
I had a Slip 'n Slide.
First get a tetanus shot
Your souvenirs are today's realities here for everyone!
Love the rusty look and the composition as well... and as usual, V.! :-)
Oh yes! A very cool reminder of July afternoons under the sprinkler.
Better get the WD 40 out first. We had a city playground in the neighborhood with sprinklers - no one had a yard to set these up in.
Bob,
Quelle dommage. The asphalt jungle, n'est-ce pas??
Ahhh...the good ol' days!!!
