I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

I'm booking a flight for June! Daryl and I just need to settle on a date!
A perfect spot to grab a glass of wine, snuggle with Meeps and decompress after the stress of temporary Blogger withdrawal!!!
NICE!
Love your red chair!
I dropped by about an hour ago. You must have been out purchasing wine and groceries. I like RED wine and RED meat.
Will we all fit? I am always up for bringing wine - say when.....
Judy, Everyone is welcome, but my tiny balcony will only seat two! :)
Bill, you know the wine is always open but it's WHITE!
Is this the only touch of rouge in your new place or are there more?
It looks charming. If Judy and I are on the balcony, where will you sit?
This balcony must become a "clown car" to hold all the friends who would love accepting that invitation.
oooh how lovely and your red too. Wonderful!
