Sunday Paris Church Series - Men at Work

Independent Presbyterian Church has been undergoing some major renovation work in the sanctuary since January, 2011.  I've been dying to get in there and see what was going on. Recently, I was at the church to photograph another event, and the front doors were wide open. I took that as an invitation.  Since I bypassed the "permission", I've since asked forgiveness.

You little sneak. When will the renovation be complete? I can't wait to see it.

You sound suitably remorseful. Not!

A beautiful window and interesting update on their progress but where's your theme day mailbox, kiddo? (I'm holding up my index finger)

Leif, I FORGOT!!! Now JB tells me next month's theme is Under Construction. Well I could have used today's photo for that!

You will not get a scolding from me, the notorious stealth photographer... Together we are real trouble, mon amie! Love this and will be glad to see the "after" shots as well.

bon dimanche

When I saw the title I thought that Paris was invading BHM...but know I see that BHM has Paris-worthy stained glass...seriously that photo could be on either of your fine blogs!

I'm sure you'll be forgiven. Looks like it's a lovely place. Let's hope the renovations make it even nicer!

Sometimes, it's just better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission...

You've got an air of mystery. The darkness with a splash of light and color remind me of a lot of Buddhist temples. Maybe it's a universal idea.
