I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

MAGIQUE cette photo, j'adore ton choix de focus, bravo
My mother had great hopes for me, had lots of lessons as a boy, but I never got the hang of it. Nicely caught!
The focus says it all!
love the bokeh and finger placement. That qualifies as bokeh right?
I can hear them laughing
Lovely Virginia.
You've tickled the ivories into a stunning depth of field.
huh? I didn't change my name....
oh that is odd, it's coming through as my email name...freaky...!
Just lovely, Virginia. Such an atmospheric photograph and so tactile.
KM, this seems to be a Blogger problem today. Weird.

Fabulous shot V!!! And I think this qualifies as bokeh!
I really should be doing more of this - I have my lesson tomorrow, slow, slow progress :(
Very nice yesterday and today!
Does Michael give lessons? Sign Eva up! We love Timeless II as much as Timeless! We've "gifted" several copies and enjoy our own.
Is that a gravely giggle I hear groaning out of those tickled old ivories?
