I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

You make us wonder how he got that scar on his scalp. Beautiful post, V.
A warm hearted portrait with Daddy and his girl!
Happy Memorial Day - an important day to remember!
Bonjour d'EAGAN
Lovely.
Wonder if Dad is a veteran, too?
Yes and showing generations together is a plus.
Thank YOU for remembering to commemorate Memorial Day is honor to all who gave some and some who gave all! (http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com)
Another fabulous portrait...wonderful!
Two generations, pensive; colorful but quiet. Or possibly just really hot.
Perfect photo for today.
The cuteness of youth, the importance of remembrance.
Never to young to say thanks!
