New Digs

The Children's Hospital here in Birmingham is a wonderful place. It's so wonderful that it has outgrown its present facility.  Sunday on my way downtown, I pulled over to get a shot of the new wing that is coming right along. I love the brightly colored accents on the front.  Their website here, puts the completion date at August, 2012. I'll be there!

Always nice to see a hospital growing. Thank you for the nice photo. If I stare at the clouds long enough, they start moving, just like real ones. :P

It's sad to think there is a need for a bigger children's hospital but what a fetching place they've made.

nice to think a hospital has a lot of glass to it. Usually hospitals tend to not have many windows.

The color is a nice, subtle touch for the kids. They did a good job!

Cool design. The plain International Style facade is kinda static but those colored stripes add a lot of pop.
