Friday, I was invited to view the newly completed exhibit - Bob Hope, An American Treasure, before it goes on a five year tour around America's historic museums and Presidential Libraries. Method-1, a division of
Expo Displays in Trussville built it incorporating memorabilia from the Hope family and the World Golf Hall of Fame and Museums. Before it is dismantled and carefully packed in wooden crates, the nice folks at Expo allowed us to come have a look. What a treat to be able to see video footage that chronicles Bob's career, but to also see the very special artifacts that the family has shared with the public. A special thanks to our friend Stewart Knox, who gave us the tour and helped with the design process.
Be watching, it could come to your city. You won't want to miss it!

Excellent Virginia, thank you.
Hopefully, you had a fun time there! My niece, Hope, would have liked it, too!
Bonjour V de B!
I'm not sure a lot of french people know him. But I do, because my father was crazy about old US movies, and I saw many films and documentaries about him. I know he made a lot for US soldiers fighting all over the world.
I love Bob Hope...I remember watching him on TV with my grandfather when I was little.
Hope was a great comic. Maybe he chose Gerald Ford's trousers for him.
Settling in back home now. Ooh, the smack of reality. Paris isn't reality, is it?
V, Thanks for the great shots AND the alert - I am looking to see when / if this comes to L.A. "Hope" so!
I love Bob Hope too!!! For me...he is the only real MC of the Academy Awards...and the best comedian and American!!!
