CDP Theme Day - Perspective

Today is the first of the month and by now, you know that means.... Theme Day for all the daily photobloggers around the world.  This month's theme is PERSPECTIVE, and in keeping with my Lyric Theater series, I found a photo that fits both...I hope!  The stage floodlights are still in working order, or rather some of them are!  When the renovation is complete, I'm sure they will all be aglow.

Here are two excellent videos that you will enjoy here and here.

I love these shots of yours that highlight structure and decay of subject.

What a lovely and original choice, V. I'm so enjoying this series. Apologies for not commenting each day but am loving them. Yesterday's and the day before of the crumbling decoration and statuary are so touching. We are both featuring wrecked places, at the moment, aren't we?

Stage floodlights of the past and hopefully of the future! Perfect picture for "Perspective."

Great TEXTURE and perspective here (and not an easy light either) - well done Virginia!

the challenge of theme day while doing a series on this old theatre has been beautifully met.

Lovely, V. I hope that the renovation still retains the old-time feel that you've captured so beautifully.

It's past 5 pm and Friday - wish we could meet for a blogger's drink and chit chat! Too bad B'ham is sooo far from Eagan!
Bon weekend mon amie du sud
