There's something about a screen door that reminds me of my childhood. It also reminds me of this songfrom way back. Grab a cup of coffee and a slice of that pumpkin bread and join me out here on the porch!
nice .. I need a screen door for our bedroom .. we keep the door closed all the time which means in the summer we have to keep the bedroom AC on all the time .. and in winter the bedroom is always cold cause the heat doesnt circulate as well as it could ..
What a place for a house! I'll be joining you in a minute and, please, save a slice of pumpkin bread for me as I have never tried it and I am very curious! :-)
Me, too. I can remember every squeak of my grandmother's screen door and every now and then that 'thingie' that made it close softly would break and it would bang shut.
Screen doors, lake... This reminds me of my very first stay in the U.S., I was 16 and stayed with a family in Massachussetts. No screen doors in France.

What a mood setter! I'd love to settle in for a cup o' joe and a slice of bread. Nice shot.

Some of K's pumpkin bread, touched only by the hands of his little nuns?
This is such a lovely picture, I just want to crawl inside it.

This is a gorgeous shot Virginia. Very moody, lovely.

Oh, I am just charmed by this.So peaceful. I could use some of that.
Love this Virginia. You have perfectly captured the mood of the 50's!
