CDP THEME DAY - My Street

My street, Clairmont Avenue, winds past my apartment to Triangle Park, and beyond. This great space is a gathering place for the whole Forest Park neighborhood.  I was there yesterday for a photo shoot. The Sunday before Christmas, Santa will arrive at 4:00 PM on a fire truck!!  Triangle Park is a vibrant part of Forest Park.

Today I join my fellow City Daily Photoblog friends around the world  who are participating in this THEME DAY right here!

Looks like you beat the kids to the playground this AM.

love the sunlight! santa comes through our neighborhood on a fire truck too..it's pretty neat! one year he surprised us all by mentioning something that the boys did during football. they had switched jerseys and confused their coaches and he told them not to mix them up during basketball...it was oddly funny because we couldn't figure out who he was and how he knew that unless of course he WAS santa ;)

What a very nice spot, Virginia! I especially love the idea of Santa of the firetruck. I hope you post a photo of that when it happens.

This sounds like a great place to have so close by. I love the idea of Santa's arrival. I'm not sure that's done where I live any longer.

Santa does like his firetrucks, he gets around on them down here too.

Of course you'd have rouge in this photo.

Ah yes, but do you need a code or a key to open the gate?

Happy theme day!

I've driven past Triangle Park. It's a nice spot, and a lucky neighborhood to have it!
(That's not a gate; it's a piece of playground equipment - a slide?)

Love the sun filtering through the trees. Triangle Park sounds lovely!

What, no sleigh? The kiddies will be disappointed. This gate reminds me of the mouth of some cartoon monster.
