My friend Cathy's wonderful garden is a photographer's paradise in so many ways. My eye was drawn to these shards of broken pots, as well as the plantings.
HAH...at first I thought that it was dried up baloney..."my baloney has a first name - it's OSCAR" On second look, it's an edgy contemporary composition - bravo Virginie!
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

Nice!
Whether ancient or modern, potsherds hold a great attraction and fascination.
It's a good subject to capture on film...
Forget photography? Be an archeologist! I wonder which one pays better.
This is so peaceful! Did you take more shots of your friend's garden?
Brilliant! Very few people I believe would have seen the subject so beautifully and even captured...
Pixellicious Photos
