The Original Pancake House in Five Points South has been a Birmingham institution for a long time. Now I read online, that it's not all that original, there are over 100 franchises all over the USA!
I didn't know that! I thought it was locally owned! I still like their pancakes though. They used to have one in Hoover for a couple of years, I don't know why it didn't last.

Still a great pancake neon display. Something you see never in Europe. Like it.
Perhaps it's the original, Original Pancake House!!!
I've never seen them this side of the border. I'd no doubt be in there on a regular occasion!
I rarely eat pancakes but I love them so. Now I can't wait for Saturday morning when I'll have time to make some!
