Painter's Smock

Birmingham artist Java Lewis is a well known figure downtown. I found him painting on the street one day and was taken with his shirt and paint smeared hands.... the signs of a serious painter!

It's a work of art in itself.... I've know a number of artist who use the same tops to paint in and seem to be inspired when wearing it.
One artist I know called Mik Artistik wears a thin jacket to paint in, he uses the same jacket when he's on stage as a poet and a singer. He lost the jacket at Glastonbury Festival two years ago and said he 'felt lost' without it. A request went out on facebook and someone had found it and it was returned to him.

It's a well used smock, so he takes his art very seriously!

I like your focus only on the smock. No need for the rest.
