This sweet girl was a bit leery of me as I took her photo with her mom (below). After I snapped their photo, I leaned down and spoke with her and I think she decided I was OK. I sought to capture the diversity of the Women's March last Saturday. I will share more in the next few days.

I'm teaching a class on people photography at my church right now so I tried to get a few at the Women's March here in Birmingham last Saturday. I got very lucky, didn't I!

A Quiet Moment

Last Saturday during Birmingham's Women's March at Kelly Ingram Park, , I found this little guy having a quiet moment with the Three Kneeling Ministers. Reverends Martin Luther King, Jr, Ralph Abernathy and Fred Shuttlesworth are depicted here by artist Raymond Kaskey.
