Portraits From My Heart - Kitty Love

Portraits From My Heart II

Kittykins here is one of the luckiest cats I know.  She was a gift to Eva from Santa.  He left her right under the tree.  It was love at first sight.  Since Christmas her feet have hardly touched the floor.  She has been hugged, nuzzled, smooched, and lovingly toted  all over the house by her adoring mistress. This is a match made in heaven.

Portraits From My Heart is a portrait series of my five grandchildren.  Portrait I was posted on Tuesday, August 5th.

Tune du Jour is " Everywhere" by Pink Martini.   It may have been written for Eva and Kittykins.

Lovely little girl, great portrait. I'm sure Eva likes this dress in lace, am I right?
These blue eyes of Siamois cats are always so amazing.

Both your granddaughter and kittykins are cute as can be. I think you are fishing for compliments saying your portraiture skills are no good! :) Both of them have been great so far! Looking forward to seeing the others.

This photo is so sweet I think I just lost a tooth.

Wel done!

Kittykins is a blue point Himalayan therefore she is very fluffy! I am sure you guessed that under all that fluff is a hot pink collar!

Halcyon, thanks for your knd words, but the grandbabies are the easy ones. I have a long way to go with "stranger or street" photography. My friend over at St. Louis Daily Photo has been a wonderful advisor/mentor/ instructor. He is also in charge of quality control!

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement. Two down, three to go!

THis is the kind of photo that makes all mothers get teary-eyed. Wow, Virginia. You have a beautiful knack for capturing kids. I love the black and white image from the other day, too.

The positions of the two faces are wonderful - the girl looks down adoringly at the cat, who frankly my dear does not give a damn and gazes out the window looking for action. You nailed the lighting.

Such a loving portrait. How wonderful for Eva and kitty to have found each other. BTW I've really enjoyed your new photo gallery - many beautiful photos and really great portraits, it shows that it's your first love in photography & I think it's very difficult to do it so well.

Your first 'Portrait from my heart' was an inspiration already, this one is just as endearing.

Photos inspired by love are the best!
