Is there anyone who doesn't like Chihuly? His work is so identifiable and so beautiful. Julie of Scottsdale often features his work, and she should love this one. Your header today is great!
Beautiful ART, colors and shapes.
Very colorful images captured here.
The shapes are so organic and the colors so alive. This is such a beautiful image. And yes, V., with the exception of an occasional phrase (the woods are silent, dark, and deep=Frost) all the words are mine. ( :
Chihuly! Lovely. You should ask Rob to go snap a picture of the permanent Chihuly in the lobby of Target's corporate headquarters in Minneapolis.
I've been in love with Chihuly's work for years. A genius. Love your photo.
Nice. For a moment your new banner scared me.
Mr. E,I'm too scared to ask why! :)I'm off the Chinese New Year event at the Boutwell Aud. this morning. I hope to have lots of photos to share with you all!V
I do love that glass.
Love the color in both the banner and todays pic!!! Congrats on teaching a photo class...what all are you covering???
Great shots of color! You know he's from Seattle right? :-)
Reminds me of some of the pieces I saw in Murano
I love Chihuly~ there is a fabulous piece in the lobby of the V&A in London.
Dale Chihuly is not only brilliant but also very prolific!
Now you know how i maintain my sanity ... a visit to the glass museum in Tacoma does wonders when I need a color fix! Thanks for your compliment on the old tree. -:)The lines in your glass wall are quite nice, I must say.
I'm a Chihuly fan and this fantastic photo surely makes him justice! Great shot, V.!
It's worth a trip to Las Vegas to see the Chihuly in the lobby of the Bellagio Hotel - and they have a shop there if your wallet will support a purchase. Mine hasn't - did buy a beautiful book 'tho. This great shot will do nicely until I can go back to visit. Thank you very much!
