Zoe's on Clairmont Avenue has decked out their windows in celebration of Bastille Day today! Marie Antoinette never looked so "green" in her tutu of recycled Wal-Mart bags!
Oh wonderful, Virginia! And a happy Bastille Day to you too.
Been catching up with your wonderful posts - so sorry I've not commented but have been sick. Better now, thank goodness. Adored the chequers shots and also the ladies taking their dip! And what a beautiful shot of the musicians. I missed SO much!
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

Looks like Marie's there with Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, with her ruby shoes! Great post for Bastille Day.
you been to Karin's today? Women of steel!
Well, allons enfants de la Patrie. That's pretty cute. We have a mock beheading Friday night, two days late and a cake short.
I'm gonna be a bit slow on the comments and new material for a bit. Having an RA flare. I'll get an infusion and be back to normal in a while.
Fun shot!!!
