Mario Batali...Move Over!

Meet my friend Mitchell. Mitchell recently did a cooking demo at the East Lake Farmers' Market, sporting these great red Crocs. What did he prepare you ask? Well honey, a mighty fine blackeyed pea/corn salad. I had .....several tastes. It was delicious!!

BTW, the East Lake Farmers' Market is located in the parking lot of the East Lake Methodist Church. Great produce, friendly folks and the parking is easy. You need to pay them a visit!

The first photo I don`t like.
" Crocs " are both ugly and too expensive plastic....

The food looks YUMMY!
Enjoy your weekend!:)

I have to agree with Gunn about Crocs and I'll add that they're also very bad for your posture. All types of mules and clogs tend to favor a gripping position for the toes and this generates muscular tensions in your legs and back. Don't wear mules or clogs of any type, always wear properly tied shoes ! (that was my serious moment - a friend of mine is a posturologist and never misses a chance to fill me in about this)

Crocs have to be the worst ever shoe in history.

OK you folks are taking this shoe fetish way too seriously! Mitchell's a fun guy and these fit his personality!! :)

Cette salade composée avec du maïs, des petits pois....a l'air très bonne!
J'aime les salades composées bien fraîches en été!
Jolis Crocs rouges qui nous montrent les pieds de Mitchell!

That salad looks absolutely yummy!!! And I'm afraid I have to chime in about the Crocs...never understood the Croc craze...something about my feet sweating and swimming around in all that plastic...
And having been a flip flop girl forever, I totally get the toe gripping thing...I had tendonitis on the top of my foot from wearing flip flops all the time...

Claudine,
Comment pouvez-vous dire Black Eyed Peas en français? Je ne pense pas que ça y est!

The East Lake Farmer's Market is a wonderful addition to their neighborhood. Thank you Mitchell and all the vendors, musicians, cooks etc. for this great place to congregate each Saturday.

Les Black eyed peas sont des doliques à oeil noir mais en France, nous n'en mangeons pas ! C'est très américain!
