LOVE gourds and seasonal displays like this ... Pepper Place is lucky to have you as their chronicler ... and I adore Project Alabama .. I wish I could afford all the things they sell that I drool over
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

That is truly a lovely image.
This just plain speaks Fall, Harvest, Thanksgiving, a fire in the fireplace with a storm brewing outside...
Wonderful shot V! And I love the banner photo too!
And all I can think of is Smashing Pumpkins. Not even hungry, either.
I'm quite curious about your Monday post.
Pepper Place must be something wonderful. You keep taking such great shots there.
Congratulations on Project Alabama! Those are lovely photos, V.
They have excellent taste.
