Again, another poetic photo, VJ!

There was a little girl
BY HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW

There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

I cannot imagine this little one being THAT bad, but she does look a bit of a scamp, doesn't she?!

Kate and I thought the very same thing! I had no idea that was a Longfellow poem.
Daryl is right...start marketing "yo bad self"...toute de suite!

I'm just like the others -- gush, gush, gush. I hope her mom finds this portrait and saves it.

Thank you all. I did think of that wonderful poem but decided that she most definitely was never "horrid:! HA

Are the Red Hat Ladies recruiting younger these days? It makes me think of the old nursery rhyme:

There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead.
And when she was good
She was very, very good,
And when she was bad she was horrid
.

Which makes me think of Mae West's variation:
But when I'm bad, I'm better.
