I spotted this on the side of the former Jimmie Hale Mission last weekend. It reminds me of the urban art I've found in Paris, but never seen here in Birmingham. Interesting.
Uncommissioned street art is always interesting to me...terrific variety in talent. Always stop to look and sometimes photograph. Although this is immediately recognizable, I think I prefer David in Florence!

belle création murale, et le sujet est assez original, c'est pas vraiment ce que l'on trouve comme création
And we know who stole the rest....
Excellent!
A beautiful wall art work.
And again a great photograph.

There is always a first time...
Lots of this sort of 'art' down near West 14th which has become very artsy .. in addition to all the high end boutiques and clubs ...
Davis was here...?
David... right here in Birmngham? Who'd'a thunk it?
that is choice. my wheat paste friend in Australia would aprove
Did you find the rest of him around? He lost his head in Paris?
He looks pensive.
It might look better spray painted rather than pasted.
I admire artists who purposely make fragile art that will soon disappear. Seems contrary to the creative impulse.
