I've been eyeing some of the benches in my area in the past few days looking for an interesting subject. But I must say that I haven't come across anything as interesting as this old bucket.
We had an aqua version of this glider when I was a child. I loved it, even though it left little pattern marks on my bare legs when I sat on it for a while.

What a gorgeous shot of this old, rusty glider. Great composition, if I may say so myself :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

what a creaky symphony that glider could make.
i suspect w/o some oil that would be creaking into summer .. noisely
Oh, I want it.

Love your photo.
What's more summer than a rusty metal glider! Loved them when I was a kid.
I can hear the squeaking as you glide. I'm in love with your header photo.
What a great glider!
Not without wearing my industrial jumpsuit. This thing looks like it could give you tetanus.
People pay a lot of money to find old pieces like that. They clean them up some and everybody gets to reminisce.
