Memories

I was shuffling around in my archives the other day and found this photo.  It brings back bittersweet memories in several ways.  I was meeting my friend Sara for coffee to help her plan a trip to Paris.  She had a marvelous trip with her husband and daughter not long after.  We lost her last  year and we all miss her a lot.  That morning we met at Forest Perk Coffee in my neighborhood.  They've closed recently.  I'm grateful for this photograph, that brings back the memories of that special day.

Having a loved one or friend pass away presents one with sadness. It's little items like your photo that reminds us of the good times.

I'm sorry for your loss.

It's always the small things that remind us of the people we've lost...

Okay... this one is on the AMERICA region list ... but has slipped off the HOME list because of the 150 limit ... I will have to check with Peter whether your Paris blog will be listed by region under EUROPE or AMERICA. to me it makes sense to list it under EUROPE. I looked under both but could not find "PTML" but then again, I could not find Genie's blog either.

I am onto it though ... shall report back.

Your backstory makes this such a wonderful pic. Glad you have such a nice memory. That's one of the many reasons why I enjoy photography --- the vivid memories one moment in time can evoke.
