A large group of high school students were gathered at Linn Park on Sunday afternoon for a photo shoot. The young ladies were wearing some of the most amazing high heels I have ever seen in Birmingham. These are but a few!
I wish I could tell them to stop now, but they'd never listen. I've been forced to wear flats since before I was 40, because of the damage from those kind of shoes.
I have to admit...I wore my fair share of 3 inch heels in high school...but I'm totally glad I'm old enough that I don't have to wear these in the name of fashion!!!

Wedges are easier to walk in than regular heels. Love the red ones! :)

oh dear ... oh dearie me ... all I can see is a fast forward to damaged sixty-something calves and ankles!

The red ones are really cool, but everytime I see someone wearing these I always think about their back problems in the future. Maybe I'm wrong. :-)
