I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

Black and white keys... Nice.
Looks very well used — deathly sick - tired. Not a place to park a new car.
Are you sure we can park our car there? Great photo though.
Love it - first class urban grunge. Kinda reminds me of Detroit.
Line the new banner a lot, too. I'm not changing mine until I have a better idea, which could take ages.
Just goes to show you can find patterns everywhere! Love the header photo!
Nice industrial shot. Very effective with that touch of red in the sign.
You have EYES for moody and arty places too, and you created something nice and interesting the way you composed this image! Bravo!
Definitely has an urban grunge feel to it!
